The Beast

beast

It’s been a long day

Of partying, entertaining, cocktails

And endless dancing with our boring

Aristocratic friends.

Time to undress, my love:

Turn to me my beast and let

Me drag off your prince suit

With my animal teeth.

Let me hear the howls

Of your release from the

Pretence of the day

The silly women with

Their pretty hair, coquettish

Fans and frilly dresses;

And the sillier men in their

Powdered wigs and affected

Courtly manners.

Let me bury myself in your fur

Whilst you undress me from this

Princess garb and tear me,

Limb from limb until

I know where I belong.

About tallulahfruitbat

I love to write and I also have a normal job in which I try to inject a bit of madness when no one is looking! I started my blog after my marriage ended and it's an honest attempt to laugh at myself and life around me and share some of that joy at just being a crazy speck of dust in a wonderful universe with others. I'm not sad or miserable, I've just realised that life is far too short not to do the things you love. Check out my other blog on this site at www.writingsinmyblood.wordpress.com for my writing and short stories, www.tallulahfruitbat.wordpress.com for my real life funny adventures and musings I'm a crazy lady, who loves to write and loves to experience life to the full. Life is for laughing about the mad things that happen and there are plenty of them.
